I do not have an index of the 1850 census, but I do know of a Celesty/Lester
Matty, born in 1849. He was the third child. The first two were born in Ohio
and Clesty was born in Indiana. The second child was Joseph, born in Ohio,
around 1846. The two childrenthat were born after Celesty were girls. Their
mothers name was Mary. Mary and her husband, ( we don't know his name ) came
from France. The dates are estimates. Coincidence?
Good luck !
Earl
