I love to go to the Allen Co. library. I do try to make a list of books
with the authors and the call numbers for them before I go. I take a
plastic file box with me. In the box I have my list of books, a small
stapler, pencils and pens, highlighters and several rolls of quarters. The
copy machines take dollar bills and will make change, but it seems to take
to long. Since most books are not given out freely, take you list to the
table with the little slips of paper and fill them out at your work space.
Hand the slips in and soon you will have the right books. Copy, copy copy.
Be sure to note on each paper you copy the name of the book, the author and
the page number of the book Do not read all that you think you need ! You
can always read what youhave copied in the way home or at the hotel at
night. Do not think that you will find everything that you need or you will
be discouraged. I also like the library at Decatur,Adams Co,IN and the
library at Walbash, IN. If your state has a state archives library, use it
too. Lynn
