My goodness.....I dont know where your getting your information from, buts
its definately not me. I'm beginning to wonder if we're even talking about
the same Isentragers. My Uncle Bill Bocock is Catherines grandson. Him
and many of his siblings lived with her and Marcellus for several years
and she always talked of her 5 surnames and her Indian mother. I even have
a beautifull picture of her on my wall. I also know that Letitia married
a Poe. I have no idea who Raven Hair Poe is....that didnt come from me.
Whats wrong with Catherines mother being an Indian? If you have ever met
any of Catherines and Marcelluses grandkids, you would see nothing but
"Indian". As far as the Morman Genealogy site you looked at, anyone can
post information on there from any site and also add to it without the
permission of the originator. I have NEVER posted information from any
of my trees on the Morman site because the Mormans keep most of their information
restricted. I have not worked on my tree since Nov. of 2000. The last letter
I recieved from you was when you said you found Marcellus's and Catherines
marriage certificate and was going to send it to me. I NEVER recieved it
or any other information from you that you said you found. Either you forgot
or you sent it to someone else. Im sure I sent you my address. A good genealogist
ALWAYS, ALWAYS investigates his sources and records to prove they are correct.
NOTHING goes in my tree that is not correct. 2 telephone calls and 45 minutes
doesnt say anything but that you called someone and they told you something,
whether it be true or not. I could make several phone calls to people to
get information, but I still have to travel and visit gravesites and courthouses
to get my paper proof. The internet has a world of information in it, if
you know where to look and how to navigate it. there are thousands of professional
genealogists that use the internet as a beginning and sometimes and end.
I will continue to use it as I always have and continue my tree as well
with FACT. I will go the Morman site where you said my email address was
posted as the source and see whats going on and who posted it. IT WAS NOT
ME!

Main Shelter. You will meet Catherines grandkids that are still living
and remember her well.
