I am posting this information along with the obituary just in case someone might recognize this family. Lewis' wife was a daughter of my GGG-Grandfather, and I have yet to account for her date of death and burial.

LEWIS WILSON OWENS was born 18 March 1858, and died 03 September 1922 in Jamestown, Boone County, Indiana. He married MARY JANE BOWEN 08 July 1877 in Boone County, Indiana, daughter of THOMAS JEFFERSON BOWEN and MARTHA MELVINA [“Patsy”] POWELL. She was born 12 January 1859 in Jefferson Township, Boone County, Indiana.

Born March 18, 1855 and died September 3, 1922. Married Mary J. Bowen July 8, 1877. Eight children, all survive: C.S. and Fred Owens of Boone Co. Lee Owens of Rosedale, IN, Mrs. Isa Edrington, Mrs. Essie Scott, Mrs. Pearl Culley, Mrs. Ivy Ross, and Mrs. Ruth Ross all in Boone Co. Brothers John, Joe, Charles. Sisters Mrs. Mary Jackson, Mrs. Sarah Purdue, Mrs. Ida Cunningham. Wife survives. Funeral at Christian Church. Burial at Jamestown.
