Message Board Post:

Jonathan Fox and Fanny Clark lived in Clay Co KY. He lived adjacent to David and William CLARK in one census and close to Henry Clark in another (1810-1820).

David CLARK, b 1758 married Polly FOX. I wonder if Jonathan could have been her son? And who was her husband? Did she have other children?

I am not sure whose daughter Fanny was, but am seeking more information re her. Since she was born abt 1786?

It appears they may have come to Indiana with or following William Clark and Rebecca Bales, since they settled in adjacent county to Lawrence where William, born 1791 settled.

Fanny is certainly an interesting find. Do you know the year of her birth? Some family trees say 1786. If that is so, she is not the daughter of Henry. She may be the daughter of Thomas Clark?

If Jonathan and Fanny's children were assigned the naming patterns, then perhaps we are looking for a Joseph?
