Dear Mary and Phil,

Nice to have you on board. Connie did a great job, and i know you will
also!!

My interest in Clinton County comes from my GGGrandpa and GGGrandma, Michael
Coyner and Phebe Peterson Coyner. They settled in Perry TWP near
Frankfort in 1832, and their children married into the local families;
Loveless, Robinson, Horney, Wyant, Willson, Little, et al. Additionally,
Michael'b brother John D and his sister, Rossanah (married a Rhinehart) and
the kissin' cousins , the Slagels all moved about the same time. Also
Phebe's father, Johb Peterson, and some of her brothers followed them from
Ohio.

The problem has been in getting accurate primary data on Michael and Phebe's
Children. This is the area I am currently working.

Dick Coyner
