In addition to my cousin Janet's list below, I am also researching the SHAW
Clan from Crawford County!

GGG grandparents: Leonard SHAW (b. 27Jul1793, d. 18Aug1861) m. Clarissa C.
HORTON (b. 17Oct1807, m. 4Apr1823, d. 12Sep1893) (both died in Crawford
Co)(Note: Clarissa remarried a gentlemen by the surname of SHAFER and is
reportedly buried between her two beloved husbands in Shafer Ridge Cemetery)

GG grandparents: Gilbert Horton SHAW (b. 24Dec1827, d. 18Sep1898) m. Almeda
HISE (b. 26Nov1834, m. 20Sep1855, d. 13Apr1913)(both died in Crawford Co)

G grandparents: Charles Horton SHAW (b. 3Oct1870, d. abt 1918) m. Luna
ELLIOTT (b. 21Oct1880, m. 2Aug1895, d. 14Nov1971)(both born in Crawford Co)

My mother (the former Bertha Lou SHAW, daughter of Earl SHAW) tells me that
there's a SHAW family reunion in Crawford County yearly... She has long
since lost contact with the organizers... Anybody know anything about this?
