Greetings!
My grandmother was born Dora Belle LANE to James H. LANE & Adeline
(OWEN) LANE of Patoka township, Crawford Co, in 1892. I have never been
able to document this birth (except to find her name as an heir along
with other grandchildren in the probated will of James Lane's father.) I
know she had a half brother Charley LANE, son of James H. LANE & Carrie
BROWN (1st wife) born in 1887? Does anyone recall Charley LANE and did
he have children? I would like to be in touch with his grandchildren if
possible. Or anyone with knowledge of his later life. After her father's
death, Dora Belle's mother married a man in Dubois Co, IN, and I doubt
they ever returned.
