I'm searching for the Grayson County, (possibly Hardin County*) KY, location of the homestead of John Van Meter (1764-1822); son of Jacob and Letitia; married Dinah Holtzclaw, 1784. John and Dinah re-located from Kentucky to Crawford County, Indiana, 1819. John returned to his home in Kentucky after Dinah passed away. John passed away soon after moving back to Kentucky and is allegedly buried at the Kentucky homestead.

*It's my understanding that Grayson County was carved from Hardin County c.1810. The John Van Meter homestead could have been located in Hardin County initially, which could have been designated as Grayson County later.

Any information on this branch of the Van Meter family will be greatly appreciated.
