Hi Steve,

The parents of Frances Pearle Spalding were John Barton Spalding and Mary Ann
Pate. There is a biography of John Barton Spalding on the Daviess Co website
(bios) if memory serves me right.

John Barton Spalding was the son of James Ignatius Spalding and Julia Ann
Montgomery. Mary Ann Pate was the dau of Allen Pate and Mary Ann Queen.

James Ignatius Spalding was an early pioneer of St Mary's Barr Twp. He was
the son of Thomas Spalding and unknown. (I have this line back to the
immigrant to St Mary's Co, MD--Thomas Spalding and Katherine Hall). Julia
Ann Montgomery was the dau of John Barton Montgomery and Catherine_____? (I
have the Montgomery line back to immigrant Peter who came from France).
