LINTON, Ind., March 16.--(Special.)--Mrs. Mary Ellen Singer, 79 years old, widow of George J. Singer, widely known resident of Sandborn, died Wednesday at her home after a long illness. She was a charter member of the Sandborn Baptist Church. She is survived by the following children: Otis Singer and Grover Singer of Brownsville, Tex.: Claude Singer of Vincennes, Ralph Singer of Sandborn, Ray Singer of Linton and Vernon Singer of Indianapolis, and one sister, Mrs. Eva Brewer, of Sandborn. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Sandborn Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.
