Hi, new to the list and I need some help. I am attempting to locate who or
whom my ggggrandfather bought his land from. I know the range and section
info, but I was wondering if there were anything such as "tract books, or
tract range books" that I have heard about in other counties.

I am also trying to find any information about the same ggggrandfather prior
to his marriage in 1859 in Daviess Co. I know that he was a "teamster"
according to the 1860 census, and we think that he may have worked for the
railroad, but are not sure.

Does anyone know when the John and Martha "Patsy" Noland family arrived in
Daviess County, or possibly when Harvey E. McMillin arrived there?

I would appreciate any help.
