I am not familiar with the Scales family. My Daviess ci Ind connection is. Edward L Dorsey 1814-1903, and wife Matilda McCasson Dorsey.
They did have some children. George and Edward and Lutitia
That i know of..
Have you any Dorsey connections? Just curious, as i have received 3 emails on the Scales family of Daviees co ind..
Possibly one of my dorsey family married into the family..
As far as the Indpls connection, Edward l dorsey had family in Indianapolis.
