My grandmother, Elizabeth Steht Stein (misspelled Stien on the death record) died in Washington IN on March 14, 1916 at age 40. I'm trying to figure out the circumstances of her death. I believe that an inquest may have been held. Does anyone know how I go about getting a coroner's report? Who would have the report if one was done? Thanks.
