Marriages, The Odon Journal, Odon, Indiana, Saturday, April 11, 1896, page 3:
"Orange Blossoms.
Married at the residence of the bride's father, T. W. CASEY, of Raglesville, Ind., on the evening of April 8, 1896, W. K. PENROD of the ODON JOURNAL, and Miss Louella CASEY. The ceremony was performed by Rev. M. S. Heavenridge, Presiding Elder of the Vincennes District, assisted by Rev. C. S. Risley, of the Raglesville charge, in the presence of a select company of the bride's relatives and friends.
The bride was attired in a beautiful white brocaded silk and carried in her hand a bouquet of "brides roses." The bridegroom was dressed in a conventional black. The couple presented a very handsome appearance.
After the ceremony, we were invited to the dining room, where we found the table spread with the delicacies of life, of which we faired sumptuously. After the supper the couple departed for Loogootee, where they took the train for Evansville.
The bride is a member of the M. E. church at Raglesville, of which she will be greatly missed. The groom is a member of the same Church at Odon. They will return from their wedding tour today and immediately go to housekeeping.
We extend our best wishes and congratulations hoping that their married life will be one of peace and prosperity.
C. S. Risley"
