"OBITUARIES
ALICE M. DIBBLE,
wife of Wm. DIBBLE and daughter of Samuel JOHNSON, died at her residence in Elmore township, Wednesday morning, September 3d, at the age of twenty-five years. She leaves an infant daughter a week old. Mrs. DIBBLE was born in Greene township, Hamilton county, O. and moved to this State with her parents eleven years ago. She was married four years ago to Mr. DIBBLE. She was a member of the Methodist church, and her funeral sermon was preached at the house by Rev. Mr. Ramsey, the remains being interred in Oak Grove Cemetery. She was a devoted Christian, a loving daughter, an earnest woman and a faithful wife.
"In that great cloister's stillness and seclusion,
By guardian angels led,
Safe from temptation, safe from sin's pollution,
She lives whom we call dead.""
