"NECROLOGICA
"Sarah, wife of Samuel H. PRICE, and eldest daughter of Mrs. Thomas WILSON, died at her late residence in this city on last Tuesday morning, of quick consumption after an extended illness with pneumonia, at the age of forty-six years. She was a member of the M. E. church, a Christian woman and loved by all her acquaintances. She had been in delicate health for sixteen years, the age to a day of her last two children at the date of her death. Four children and a husband survive her. Her funeral was held at two o'clock on Wednesday, May 9th, 1883, Rev. R. E. Hawley preaching the funeral sermon at the M. E. church, and her body was laid to rest in the old cemetery.
Her languishing head is at rest,
It's thinking and aching are o'er;
Her quiet, immovable breast
Is heaved by affliction no more.
Her heart is no longer the seat
Of trouble and torturing pain,
It ceases to flutter and beat;
It never shall flutter again.
Washington, Ind., May 11, 1883
A FRIEND."
