“MRS. CLARK DIED TODAY.

Mrs. Minnie May CLARK, 77, city, died at 12:30 p.m. yesterday at the Colvin Nursing Home after a lingering illness of three years.

Mrs. CLARK was born June 2, 1879, in Martin county, the daughter of James and Rebecca VANCE CHAPMAN. She came to Daviess county while still a child. On August 16, 1896, she married Thomas CHADD, who preceded her in death on July 4, 1938. She married Edward CLARK on January 15, 1949, and he survives. Mrs. CLARK was a member of the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle.

Six sons, James M. CHADD, R. R. 1, city; Charles CHADD, Three Rivers, Mich.; Fred CHADD, R. R. 1, city; Thomas CHADD, R. R. 3, city; John CHADD, Bicknell; Edward CHADD, El Paso, Texas and two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Hazel) HEALY, and Mrs. Arlie (Blanche) BANISTER, both of this city, survive. There are 31 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a half-sister, Iva BELL, Coldwater, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle with Rev. Ryburn Ray officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the V. L. Poindexter Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today.”
