I am descended from Rufus Holcomb and Nancy Gloyd through their son Ethiel who married Ellen Oliver and moved to Columbia County, Wisconsin. Ellen died in Columbia County, Wisconsin in 1881. Ethiel moved to Kingsbury County, South Dakota and died there in 1884.They had 5 sons that I can find record of. Their youngest son, George F. Holcomb was my great grandfather. According to the information I can find, Nancy's father Asa and three of her brothers - Turner, Noah and Robert moved to Dearborn County, Indiana prior to 1830. Would love to share information with you.
