I'm new to this particular list and am trying to find my Durbin
ancestors, some of whom migrated from Ohio to Indiana.

My line originated in this country with Samuel Durbin and Ann Logsdon of
Maryland. One of their sons was Nicholas, from whom my line descended.
He was my g-g-g-g-grandfather. After having lived in Fayette County, PA
and moving to Jefferson County, OH (Shortcreek Twp.) Nicholas died there
in 1811.

Lawrence moved to Holmes County, OH where he purchased land. A sister
and brother also moved there. It is during this time, as some of the
family kept moving west, that I lost the connections. I am especially
interested in what happened to Lawrence. I think that some other members
of the Durbin clan settled in eastern Indiana and the families reunited
there.

Any information will be most appreciated.
