Two long shot questions -- I have a photo from my grandmother's collection of her mother-in-law Medora (Boardman) Stalder Cooper labeled "5 generations". I can identify 4 generations but I do not have a name for the youngest boy. I have Grandma Cooper b. 1846; her son Curt Stalder b. 1869; his son Willard Stalder b. 1891; his son Walter Stalder b. 1916; his son ?. The son looks to be about 4. Photo was probably taken about 1935-40. The family lived in Wilmington or Dilsboro. Would any of you have gone to school with a Stalder boy in Dearborn County 1940-50? It's a shame to have the older generations identified, but not the youngest one. We've lost touch with that part of the family - and I did not find any Stalders in Dearborn Co when I did a search.
Also - we're trying to locate a photo of Rev. Thomas Curtis who was an early minister (1820-1840s) of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Aurora. It would have been too early for a photograph, but hope there might have been a portrait made -- or a sketch published in church or local records. Any suggestions?
Thanks...
