I have Morris Ganey who lived in Aurora,Dearborn Co., IN.
He filed for naturalization on 8 Oct 1866.He landed in NY in17 May 1864. He was from Ireland. He was about 30 at the time.
Wife was Johanna, She was b. 24 June 1842, d 14 May 1893, buried Riverview Cemetery, Aurora. .Their daughter
Bridget married Charles Canfield in Dearborn Co. in 1881.
I wonder if they aren't related to your Ganey's? Be glad to hear from you.t
