Pamela, my notes show Zebulon as father to Townsend Dickinson, present in the 1820 Census in Manchester Township along with Zebulon. Amos is not present from what I can see. Was Townsend possibly a brother of your Amos? Was there a Townsend mother somewhere? Also, according to the 1850 Census, Townsend was 57 (or is it 51?) when the Census was taken, perhaps crowding your Amos somewhat. However an LDS GED shows this Townsend having a son Amos and a son Zebulon, so perhaps ypu're on the right track! Too bad the data shows Townsend dying in 1833 - perhaps that was really Zebulon?
