Hi Loren. Am not researching this line and have no other info, just trying to be helpful. Keep in mind that a lot of people in those days were uneducated and spelled phoneticly. The 1850 census for Indiana, Dearborn county, Manchester township had a family headed by John Settals (sic), 35, farmer, born in Ohio. All others in the family were born in Ind, they included, Elina, 37, - Wyet, 7, - Andrew J, 6, - John, 5, - Elina, 1, and Blackley Shoemake, 13. Hope this helps. Good luck. Don
