>From THE LAWRENCEBURG PRESS, (INDIANA) 22 Jan 1874: Obituary of Lydia Sylvester PLUMMER: Lydia Sylvester Plummer, daughter of Job & Lydia Sylvester, was born in the State of Maine, December the 14th, 1792. She was married to Luther Plummer in the year 1810, with whom she lived about 62 years; he having died Nov 24th, 1872. She was the mother of 10 children, seven of whom survive her. She was converted and united with the M.E. Church early in her married life. She came to Indiana in 1818, and the next year settled in Manchester, where she remained until the time of her death. She died in peace, January 13th, 1874, aged 81 years, 1 month.
