Thank you very much for this information. Since my grandmother said her family was from Scotland, perhaps she meant, then, her father's people, the Mortons. I had understood her to tell me it was the Blaisdells, but it has been years since she told me that, so I probably didn't pay close attention when she told me, since I was not interested in genealogy at that time. If I could just turn back the clock!
