Thank you for your kindness and willingness to do lookups for complete strangers. Came across your offer while researching Dearborn/Ohio County, Indiana. My family is from Rising Sun, Indiana, where all of their 9 children were born. Have 2 children of g-g-grandparents, Margaret Sheridan Howard and John W. Howard who died and have been unable to locate cemetery. Also, my g-g-grandfather served in Civil War and died in hosital in Memphis, TN, from war-related disabilities. Don't know where he is either. In my own research, I have been unsuccessful --maybe you can help. Here are names:
Alonzo Howard: B. c1843 - Died between 1850-1860
Rebecca Howard: B. 1852 - Died as child, have no year
John W. Howard: B. c1819 - Died Dec. 16, 1865
Rising Sun was once part of Dearborn County until 1844, when it split and was renamed Ohio County. Don't think this will make a difference in the cemeteries. Hope you come up with some wonderful stuff. Thanks for what you do!
