Dearborn County IN. 1810-1840. John Simmons veteran of the War of 1812 from Dearborn Co. IN m. Mary Lewis 11-08-1827. Mary had brothers George & Enoch Lewis. George Lewis m. Catharine ?. Enoch Lewis m. Charlotte Freeman. Mary Lewis Simmons had 1/2 sisters Harriet Johnson Dixon & Nora Johnson Richardson. Many of the above listed migrated to Jennings Co. IN. On the 1850 census o Jennings Co. IN I find a Thomas French, age 15, living in the Thomas & Harriet Johnson Dixon house. A William Freeman living in the George Lewis house. Additionaly Thomas & Henry Freeman living in the Roger O'Neal house
