Mary. I told you I was going out on a limb and say that I think George's wife was Delphia Huddleston. Let me tell you why I think so. In the 1900 census there was only one Delphia in Dearborn county, her name was Huddleston, she is there in the 1910 and 1920 census, and in 1930 there is only one Delphia in Dearborn county and her name is Ott. If you look at the age throughout the years they agree. First though, Martin J Huddleston married Mary J Hansel in Dearborn county, on 11 Feb 1875, source is book 13, page 24. In the 1880 census for Dearborn county, Miller township, Dist 51, page 11, the family is headed by Martin Huddleston, 28, farmer, born in Ind as were both parents, and included his wife Mary J, 29, born in Ind and both parents in England, his son Herbert, 1, Ind and his son Charly, 2/12, Ind. Again cannot search the 1890 census. In the 1900 census for Dearborn county, ED 47, page 9A, the family was headed by Martin Huddleston, 48, born Apr 1852, married 26!
years, a farmer, born in Ind, father in Eng and mother in Ind, and included his wife Mary J, 48, Nov 1851, married 26 years, mother of 3 all still living, Ind, Eng, Ind, his son Herbert, 21, Aug 1879, Ind, farm laborer, his son Charly O, 20, Apr 1880, Ind, farm laborer, and his daughter Delphia C, 13, Nov 1887, Ind. In the 1910 census for Dearborn county, Miller township, Dist 52, page 1B, the family was headed by Martin Huddleston, 58, marrried 35 years, born in Ind, father in Eng and mother in Ind, a general farmer, and included his wife Mary J, 58, married 35 years, Ind, Eng, Ind, and his daughter Delphia, 23, Ind. In the 1920 census for Dearborn county, Miller township, ED 50, page 1A, the family was headed by Martin Huddleston, 67, Ind, Eng, Ind, a general farmer, and his daughter Delphis, 33, Ind. If you look at the 1930 census again you will see she was 43. To confirm this you need to look at the record of their marriage in Lawrenceburg. Would do it for you but !
am a long way off. Good luck. Don
