Sharon, I see that you are researching some Decker families. I am trying to find out if a Fred Deaker living in the area around 1900 is really a Decker. The only information that I have is that he was a brother to Henrietta Lubbe who lived in Dearborn County at that time along with her daughter, Sophia Willmann, and Mary Ann Macke, my husband's great great grandmother. Fred is listed as living in Harrison, OH, just across the state line in the obit, but he probably lived in Dearborn and Ripley County earlier. The maiden name and Fred's name was spelled Deaker in Mary's obituary, but I can't find anyone by that name anywhere. I hope to find an obit for Henrietta to see if it is really Decker, but until then I can only search for both. Do you know if you are connected with this Decker family?
