My Goodpastures came from Kappel Switzerland but I have them back to Gorius Vollenweider Rossau, Switzerland B)1620 D) 6/04/1645 ( when Americanized its Goodpasture). his son Ulrich B) 1661 Ulrich's son Heinrich(Henry) B) 1690 Henry's son Jacob B) 1710 came to America to Augusta Co Va Jacobs son Soloman B0 1738 You might start there. Solomans son Abraham"James"B) 1760 Augusta Co Va His son Joseph B)abt 1785 Joseph's son Robert B) 1828 Bath Co Ky Robert married Mary A Goodpaster daughter of James Barford/Bareford Goodpasture B) 1801 Bath Co Ky their daughter Elizabeth Frances was my GGGrandmother she married Eldridge Davis. James Barford was the son of Cormelius Goodpasture Cornelius was the son of Soloman. So Robert and Mary A Goodpasture were cousins. This is crazy but I hope this will give you some names to start with! Let me know if we are "Kin" Daryl
