I am the GG grandaughter of Benjamin & Elizabeth Powell of Penns. My G gradfather was Benjamin & Rachel's son Benjamin born in Brown Co, PA and died in Madison County, IA Feb 28, 1868 and buried in old family cemetary in Madison County. Ben Jr married a Elisabeth Conger from New Jersey about 1801 and is also buried with Benjamin at Powell Cemetery in Madison, Co Iowa. Benjamin Jr was one of the founding settlers to this area of Iowa and a very prominent family there. His Son Elihu is my G grandfather who Married a Rebecca Abrams. Elihu was born 8-26-1827 in Indiana before move to Iowa approx 1854.
