The jungck branch hooks up with descendents of Juergen Heinrich Wilhelm Meyer who came to Greene and Calhoun county iowa in 1884. Prior to that his brother Juergen Heinrich Friederick Meyer made arrangements for them to come. He had come in 1868 or 1869 They were both from Oldendorf and the Dahlenburg area. In lower Bleckede. In 1772 their grandfather came from an area by Thomasburg.
It is a group of people in that area of iowa that came from their area of germany. Others married them. William had a son William and his children Walter, Mable and Eleanor. The descendent married V. Hass or Haas, and names of Hedberg, Habermier,Hammer, Everhardt, Laue, Chance. Some of these in southern Mn. In the coloniy in iowa a few did come from Oldendorf area. They married into a Kanning tree also. Again settlement in both areas of that tree.
I am intersted in your meier and Meyers. Where from and when and where did they live. Perhaps I need to check back to yur postings.
I am especially intersted in any one who settled in ks or Nebraska. It seems that a few surnames connected to Wlliams wife family the Heins relatives settled Palmer ks. and some with Meyer/Luhmann side settled at Cass county Nebraska. There was a Meyer family there also with a connection to Merten and Theobold.
