While I am not familiar with the name Erskine, my general knowledge of this branch of the family is poor. There is a "Mary Ellen Chamberlin" ( a great grand-daughter) in this family born around 1851. I do know that members of the family did move to Coles and Shelby Co.s in Ill. sometime in the mid 1800's.
