Several years ago I visited the court house in Dearborn & found in Volume 6
pg.330 information on the marriage of Issac McMullen to Susannah Greene in
Dearborn Co.which showed the marriage license application to be dated Sept. 14th.
1842 but it did not show the return stating when, where or if the wedding had
been performed. At the time the court house was being remodeled and the
basement was closed to the public so I was unable to look at or get a copy of the
actual application that had been recorded up stairs in the court house.
I would be glad to pay any expense involved if someone would be kind enough
to take the time to look up and make a copy of the application.

I have a family biography which states that the wedding took place on Sept.
5th. 1842 in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, IN and in the biography Susannah's
last name is spelled Green (without the e on the end) . The biography states "
that the information was partly from memory and also from knowledge" so I
would think the above information would be more accurate.
