I am seeking information on George J. Michael, Jr., his wife Nancy Barnes, &
their children William M. & Harriet J. Michael. George & Nancy married 27
Jun 1827 in Decatur Co., IN. George Michael died in Clinton Co., IN. Nancy
Michael was appointed guardian of the children in 1832. There is a marriage
record for Samuel Stephens and Nancy Michael 13 Mar 1834 in Decatur Co., IN.
Is this Nancy Michael the same person who was married to George Michael? A
Samuel & Nancy Stephens later turned up in Van Buren Co., AR along with
several Michael families and Cullum families from Indiana. The 1850 Census
for Van Buren Co., AR shows a Francis Cullum & his wife Harriet both born in
Indiana. Is this Harriet the child of George & Nancy Michael?
