i have the book geneaglogies of the first settlers of the ancient county of Albany n.y. from 1630=1800

it has a, Van Arsdalen, Dirk and Gysbertje De Grauw,
ch: bp; Gerrit,Feb.5,1749; Gerrit,June 21,1752

could this be of your lineage? i thought i remember you saying something about the name

Lois is from the Van Hooser line.

We had a good trip from Florida to texas to N.Y. crossed the Mississippi River 4 times.
