As a possible last word on the Family History line that has been running I
received the following from my younger son (He's 30 now) yesterday.

This may be ,of course, due the fact and all being well, that he is to be a
Father himself in August!

Grandpa was George Denzil ROGERS born 1897 in Srinagar,Kashmir. His elder
brother Gilbert Noel ROGERS was born there too in 1891. Their parents were
George Joseph ROGERS, born Benares 1861 and Catherine Louise(a) Bridget
Stack ROGERS -nee PEMBROKE born Landour 1865.

There are a whole raft of other ROGERS from this period born/living/working
in India and if any ROGERS connections pop up I will delighted to hear from
you, especially about any of the children of my Grandfathers step brother
William (George?)ROGERS born 1870 and who lived I believe in the Rawalpindi
area until his death there in 1944.

His children's names known are Kathleen Francis Georgina ROGERS(Mrs
Foster),Richard Patrick ROGERS,William Peter ROGERS,Joseph William ROGERS
and Terence George ROGERS.

So is there anyone out there please?
