Sally, what you say is one thing, but, as John pointed out, those
pages have not been updated since 2009, which is rather strange.
I wonder what went wrong and why have they stopped such a
good project. Lack of funds? Little response?

with Arriving in Calcutta and have already found input from such a diversity
of people ..... people whose thoughts on Calcutta I for one, would not have
had access to. The years 1940s did indeed make of Calcutta a city buzzing
with 'extracurricular' events that affected the whole general populace. I
think that if even any old rickshaw wallahs have survived, they would have
tales of their own to tell !
