Hi,

Sudi and Vadi refer to the two halves of the month. Sudi I think is the
first half which culminates in Poornima which is the full moon. Vadi
therefore is the second half, the dark half as it were.Bhadawa refers to
Bhadrapad. This month is known variously as Bhadarwa, Bhadarwo, Bhadon.....
