I remember reading somewhere that each Hindu state
also had a special local Devi they revered,
usually a form of Parvati / Durga, rather than Lakshmi.
Is this also true ?
(Kolhapur though, must revere their local MahaLakshmi
greatly, as well as TuljaBhavani, I'd guess)
Your list will be very helpful, as I have a record with
in a database with at least a little info on c 400
of the former Princely States.
The tiny ones in Gujurat were too much for me.
