The India Office Library & Records in London has an archive of
'Agreements with staff' for the South India Railway Company in their
class L/AG/46/18/1-4. It covers the period from 1891 to 1940.

AFAIK none of these records are on film, so you will need to work with a
London-based researcher if you want to look people up in them.
