George SUMMERS, a private in the Royal Fusilers wife Mary (Irish)
had two daughters while posted to India. Catherine SUMMERS born around 1877
and Agnes SUMMERS born around 1878.

Is there anyone who would be able to help me locate which presidency around
this time would be the most likely and where I could try next. This was
Mary's second marriage, her first husband and seven sons died of cholera,
also in India.

I enjoy the group enormously and am especially interested in the plight of
widows and the strugle involved in raising families unsupported. In 1881
Mary was living in England, widowed for the second time and raising three
daughters on her own.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
