I too am trying to find out about a shipwreck. I contact a British
maritime organization and they suggested looking up "Lloyd's Lists,
Registry of Ships". They said I would find it at most maritime museums.
As I don't have one in my area, I have not had a chance to take up the
suggestion.
If you do find one and wouldn't mind looking up my vessel, it's the sailing
ship Robin Hood. My relative was said to have drowned about 1871 at Cape
Horn which presumably sailed out of Leith, Scotland. Any help would be
appreciated.
