Hello All,
A very interesting kite is being flown by the new British Library. They are
suggesting that as they have a short fall in funding from the Govt that all
Readers shall be charged £300 per annum for their ticket .WOW. This all a
bit interesting as I believed that the use was always to be free. Why don`t
they ask for some of our giant surplus lottery cash, after all I think that
the Museum and Library were initially funded by a Lottery . I have a ticket
that doesn`t expire until 2000 (What bug will affect that) and I`ve already
lost 4 months of use at the India Office Collection. Will I get a credit
???
I suppose that they could have another lottery of their own - first prize =
All the India records on 2 CD`s. Anyone for tickets <g>
