Hello,

I am new to the list and I am seeking information about my Grandfather
and Great Grandfather. Even though my Grandmother is still alive and
healthy, she knows nothing about my grandfathers (her husbands) history
and nothing about her own father whom died of sunstroke when she was
young.

My family being British subjects lived in Calcutta, Coimbatore, Kolar,
Goldfields and Budge-Budge, India around 1899 to 1946 when they
immigrated to Australia and Canada.

1. Nothing is known about post relatives to my paternal Grandfather
"Wilfred Desmond Addison." He worked at "Burmah Shell Oil Company" in
Budge Budge India from August 1921 to May 1947. Prior to that he worked
as an apprentice at "Jessop & Co." in Calcutta 1917 to 1921. I am
seeking information weather he had brothers or sisters and who his
parents were etc.

2. Little is know about my Great grandfather on my grandmother=92s
side. His name was "Charles Terrell" and he served in the "Blackwatch
Army Regiment" in India probably around 1910 or so.

I think this information I have about the two is substantial information
but I only seem to run into dead ends, does anyone have an idea where I
could get some info on them?
