Fred,
My road atlas of the UK lists 13 Cliftons distributed through many
counties. Probably the most well known is the suburb of Bristol, where
Brunel built his suspension bridge across the Avon Gorge. There are
probably many more and there are certainly private estates/ farms etc
also called Clifton. So without further information, it could be
difficult to get the right one!
