Dear Listers,
Can anyone from this List living in (Bombay) Mumbai or anywhere else,
assist us in finding out information on one of my (maternal granduncles)
Frederick Joseph Currion. So far what we know about him is that :-
!. He was an MLA and JP in Bombay during the 1930s and late 1940s.
2. He was attached to the Anglo-Indian Association in some high capacity
and Mr Frank Anthony succeeded him.
3. He also represented the Railwaymens' Union in some capacity or other.
4.He was a Freemason.
5. He had two brothers; William Joseph (my grandfather) and Harold (?)
Currion. Harold was killed in Assam during WW2, he was on the Railways up
there. Some say there was a sister too, but we have no information on her.
We would like to know if anyone knew or heard of them and of their B.M.Ds.
We have tried various sources but so far have drawn a blank on any sort of
information about my grandfather William Joseph, so have decided to trace
the family through Frederick if at all possible.
Regards Reg Luff. Tasmania, Australia. < >
