Folks,

I've taken a stab at creating an 'Indian Ancestors in India' page, in
line with my other non-British ancestors pages. It is at :

The information is pretty thin, as I can't seem to find a lot to aid
people researching Indians in India. I have been spectacularly
unsuccessful in finding my own Indian ancestors. Can anyone add anything
useful to this page? I've searched the Web and there doesn't seem to be
anything worthwhile out there to guide folks in this area. There are
thousands of links on modern India, and its history, but nothing about
Indian genealogy. Anyone have suggestions?
