I just cannot keep away from trying to find my roots. I have recently discovered that my GUncle Ernest Hamilton was with 1st Black Watch stationed at Kampti (central provinces, India). He arrived there in 1896. In 1901 sailed to Harrismith, Durban, South Africa.

Could somebody please advise me if there is anyway I could trace his movements whilst in India, or if there are any photographs of the 1st Black Watch. I thought maybe someone just might have some photos available as I do not have one of my great uncle.
